Hi Kim! Can't wait to have you back with us on Wednesday nights. Check out pages, the new independent bookstore in Manhattan Beach: http://www.pagesabookstore.com/

Also, my friend Terry Gilman owns Mysterious Galaxy, which sells primarily science fiction and fantasy, in San Diego (http://www.mystgalaxy.com/). She will be opening a second store in the South Bay next year, called Mysterious Galaxy @ the Beach.

Maybe I will see you tomorrow night?

So glad to discover this site via Traveling Mamas.

Have you checked out the independents in Tucson Arizona? Bookman's, which sells mostly used, but some new has just about every special service you list above!

We are blessed with several other nice independents, too.

Have you interviewed Larry McMurtry about his book selling experience? (He once had one in Tucson, which is why he comes to mind).

I write about travel and books at A Traveler's Library, and did a piece on travel book stores which you might find interesting.

Best wishes,

Vera
