We are huge fans of Suzanne Collins over here at Bookstore People. Claire said that Hunger Games and Catching Fire are two of the best YA books ever. My daughter Kelsey’s books are literally dog eared she has read them so many times (click here for her review of Catching Fire). And me? Finally, I picked them up this week and it’s safe to say, I’m a bit sleep deprived. So, there is much jubilation over the announcement of the publication date of the yet-to-be-named third book in the trilogy – August 24, 2010. That’s 239 days away for those of you counting down the days, and we are. Rest assured, the LaZebnik family and the Allen-Niesen family will be gathering at a bookstore at midnight (we had fun together at Village books waiting in line for the Harry Potter books) to buy mulitple copies because no one will be wanting to wait for someone to finish the book.
Any thoughts on what the book should be named? Claire and I are terrible at titles. I think the title should include or reference the mokingjay in some aspect. What do you think?
